The Legal 500, which is published every year, is a leading guide to the best solicitors in the UK. It prides itself on being totally independent and impartial.
Slee Blackwell are proud to have been included within the publication for many years in succession.

The Legal 500 rankings are based on feedback from 300,000 professionals and thousands of interviews, all of which are independently assessed by the publication’s researchers.
For more than 30 years the Legal 500 has been analysing the capabilities of law firms across the world. Its comprehensive research programme is revised and updated every year, allowing it to assess the strengths of law firms in over 150 jurisdictions.
The only way a law firm can get into the Legal 500 ranking tables and commentary is on merit. If their researchers do not think a firm of solicitors is one of the best then they will not be included. It is not possible for a firm of solicitors to buy its way into the editorial.
Every firm of solicitors that is ranked in the Legal 500 UK Solicitors guide is ‘recommended’. One of the service areas that Slee Blackwell is ranked for is clinical negligence. Partner and head of our clinical negligence team, Oliver Thorne, commented:
