The night was a tremendous success for Slee Blackwell Solicitors who won the Employer of the Year award
Slee Blackwell’s managing partner, Nick Arthur, was delighted:
‘It’s a tremendous accolade for the firm. We are humbled and honoured to have won such a high status award. I would like to thank everyone associated with the Devon and Somerset Law Society who work so hard on behalf of the profession. I would also like to thank the judging panel, chaired by Judge Erik Salomonsen and of course the sponsors of the award, Legal South West Legal Recruitment.’
Slee Blackwell notched up successes in other categories on the night.
Rachel Thain, a previous DASLS Award winner, received the Rising Star award while medical negligence lawyer Oliver Thorne was Highly Commended in the Legal ‘Hero’ of the Year award.
Taunton office partners James McNally and Naomi Ireson were named Winner and Highly Commended respectively in the Leader of the Year category.
The President of DASLS, Sue Aggett, said that the Awards recognised lawyers who had gone that extra mile.
“The panel had a tough job this year”, she said. “Congratulations to all those who were nominated with particular congratulations to all those shortlisted.”
