Holly Hampton is a Trusts and Estates Practitioner in Slee Blackwell’s Private Client department, based at the firm’s Bideford office. She is a qualified tax practitioner, as well as being a full member of STEP, the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners.

Holly joined us in February 2023, coming from a top-100 accountancy practice. She deals with estate administration and trusts, with a specific focus on tax. Holly also deals with deeds of variation and deeds of appointment, Wills and LPAs.

Outside the office, Holly loves to spend time with family and friends, attending gigs and travelling.

I had approached Slee Blackwell with an issue regarding a Family Trust which I felt was no longer beneficial to the family. A slight complication was that the Trust should have been registered in September 2022, a requirement of which we had been unaware. On our first contact with Holly, it was clear that she had studied the background thoroughly, and had put together a course of action, together with the documents necessary, with remarkable speed. Holly does it again! It’s worth reading this review.I needed to make a Will. One of these things that we all should do but is extremely easy to put off. I had made a list of the Barnstaple solicitors who advertised such and started calling to see what sort of price a will would be and the procedure for making such a will. I was a little surprised at my findings. Some would not give a price and others would be very arrogant and question details that at this stage were totally irrelevant! However Slee Blackwell listened and acted courteously and with professionalism. I was fortunate in getting Holly to carry out my instruction, apart from being quite lovely she knew all the answers to my questions and suggested things I was not aware of and, as I was going on holiday in about 10 days, she managed to get everything wrapped up before my departure. I might also add, very competitively priced, far less than I was expecting. Thank you Holly
