Slee Blackwell is one of the top donating firms, raising over £5,800 for the Will Aid causes. The firm’s offices in Braunton, Bideford, South Molton and Barnstaple all participated.
The campaign involves lawyers at Slee Blackwell drafting Wills and then overseeing the process of signing and execution. No fee is charged to the client. Instead, the client is asked to make a donation to Will Aid to support the nine charities. Recommended donations start from £95 for a simple, single Will.
Slee Blackwell has supported this campaign for a number of years and it always proves to be a very popular event.
We have found that the promotion encourages those who have been putting off making a Will to come forward. It is one of those jobs at the end of a very long list that can get over looked. By making your Will using the Will Aid scheme, not only is your Will professionally drafted and signed and witnessed correctly, but you are also making a valuable donation to charity in the process.
Slee Blackwell Solicitors also offer to store all Wills (including those made under the Will Aid scheme) free of charge; a service that some will writers make a considerable charge for.
We also send clients a copy of their new Will to keep at home and refer to as and when their circumstances change.
