Sexual abuse against children is sadly in the news yet again, this time right here in our local community.
Allegations of abuse have been made by ex-pupils of a state-aided Barnstaple boarding school. Former attendees of Russell College (formerly known as Dennington College) in North Devon report being subjected to harsh punishments as well as mental, physical, and sexual abuse during their time at the school in the 1970s and 80s.
