Bristol mesh procedures: Patients sent letters following internal review
We have been made aware that North Bristol NHS Trust has recently sent out letters confirming the findings of the Internal Review Panel in relation to laparoscopic ventral mesh rectopexy (LVMR) procedures.
In some cases this review has identified care which has fallen below a reasonable standard. While a significant number of patients have been involved in the review process, for others this letter is the very first contact they have received from the Trust. We understand that it has caused worry and confusion for patients who are not currently represented by a solicitor.
If you have received this letter or would like to discuss your concerns surrounding your LVMR procedure, Â please contact medical negligence solicitor Caroline Webber-Brown who is representing a growing number of patients affected by LVMR and Rectopexy mesh complications.
Caroline will be happy to have an informal chat with you and offer free guidance on the options open to you, including making a claim for compensation.
We specialise in surgical mesh and laparoscopic ventral mesh rectopexy (LVMR)Â claims. Our medical negligence lawyers are highly experienced and deal with cases in a caring and compassionate manner.
We are also able to deal with Bristol mesh cases on a no win, no fee basis. This means that you do not need to allow worries about funding legal fees and court costs to put you off seeking justice.
