Oliver Bushnell is a Trainee Solicitor in Slee Blackwell’s Corporate and Commercial Property team.
He advises on a wide range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant, and the property elements of corporate and development transactions. He is regularly involved in complex commercial property transactions, spanning development sites, investment assets, and multi-party funding structures. His day-to-day work includes title investigation, drafting and negotiating contracts and leases, raising and responding to pre-contract enquiries, and coordinating completions involving lenders and other professional advisers. Oliver brings a methodical, detail-focused approach to his work and is committed to helping clients achieve their commercial objectives.
Oliver also provides corporate services, including company formations and business start-ups, shareholder agreements, partnership and LLP agreements, business sales and acquisitions, company restructures and reorganisations, management buy-outs and buy-ins, joint ventures and collaboration agreements, share purchases and share transfers, option and pre-emption agreements, corporate governance and directors’ duties, and business succession and exit planning.
Oliver graduated with an LLB from Swansea University before completing a postgraduate degree in Public International Law.
Before entering law, Oliver co-founded a property development company — a background that gives him a practical understanding of the challenges his clients face.
Outside the office, Oliver is a keen golfer and sailor and enjoys staying active whenever he can, which may go some way to explaining his energy for the demands of commercial property and corporate work.
