Police claims

How we can assist you with making a police claim.

Survivors from the Rotherham grooming gangs have recently provided accounts that state they were sexually abused by serving South Yorkshire Police officers between the mid-1990s and the early 2000s. The reports note incidents of sexual abuse, intimidation and non-intervention, and the testimonies raise critical issues of police accountability.

South Yorkshire Police have arrested three former officers on suspicion of serious historical offences, including rape and misconduct, following these allegations.

One of the officers involved, PC Hasan Ali, died in 2015 shortly after being assigned restricted duties. Survivors are concerned about the fairness of the current and ongoing investigation and are asking for an independent inquiry.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct and the National Crime Agency are currently investigating the allegations. Survivors’ legal representatives have raised their concerns over accountability in handling and investigating these cases, and a serious lack of trust.

We specialise in police claims, providing expert legal support to victims of police abuse who want to bring a legal action. We can provide advice and representation for anyone who has suffered unacceptable treatment, abuse or neglect at the hands of police officers.

We understand that there can be financial challenges stopping victims from gaining justice, so we can offer a no win, no fee service. This means you will not have to pay any legal fees if you do not win your claim and recover compensation.

We will investigate your case thoroughly to build a strong case. We will handle all relevant agencies and oversee all communications on your behalf, offering you support throughout.

Given the nature of the allegations that arose in the Rotherham scandal and other cases against the police, we believe it is important that victims feel able to access legal representation with low risk and transparency.

So, if you have been subjected to police abuse or misconduct, we encourage you to contact our friendly police claims team for a confidential, no-obligation consultation. We are here to assist you in seeking justice and receiving the compensation you deserve, without any financial risk.
