As head of Slee Blackwell’s large residential property department, Andrew Burke combines responsibility for the management and development of our conveyancing services with acting for a wide range of private clients, investors and developers.
Andrew is widely experienced in all aspects of residential property work, including issues of considerable legal complexity. During his career he has dealt with thousands of sales, purchases and hundreds of remortgages.
He trained at Slee Blackwell from 1990 to 1992, becoming a partner in 1995. He was educated at Ilfracombe School, and studied Modern History, Politics and Philosophy at Southampton University, before obtaining his post graduate legal qualifications at Nottingham Law School. He lives in Northam, near Bideford. He is former rugby player and an occasionally active member of the Devon Rugby Referee Society.
