SHEER EXCELLENCE. I consulted Emma Slade regarding a letting/ managing agent negligence matter. In short, she is absolutely fantastic. Not only did Emma show excellent legal knowledge and experience but she also displayed huge customer awareness, practicality and understanding, seeking always to minimise and protect the customer from unnecessary high costs where at all possible but without compromising on her professionalism and expertise. She dealt with all communications promptly, fairly and sagaciously and was an absolute delight to work with: one in a million. She is an absolute credit to the practice and to the legal profession in general. I am hugely impressed by her and accordingly, I cannot recommend her highly enough.
I want to express heartfelt gratitude to you for seeing the merits in this long-running matter, and helping bring a satisfactory conclusion to it. I am not sure if our paths will actually cross again in the type of world we live in now, but anything is possible. This case certainly illustrated that.
Emma was a truly remarkable lifeline, she was so professional, meticulous in every detail. The antithesis of any solicitor I have met. Ensuring I had gone through every unturned stone. The support was exactly what had been missing with every solicitor and lawyer I had ever had dealings with who were rotten apples. She has set the benchmark so high, I don’t think it can ever be beaten. You have a professional who loves her job with a passion, thrives on looking after client’s monies and their wellbeing. She tells you exactly if something has been overlooked, but gives you a direction that is right. In all honesty I cannot thank her enough for her skill, patience and tenacity.
You don’t know what a relief it is, that after 28 long years for all the legal wrangling to have been resolved and to have actually received a considerable amount of compensation. I would like to offer my sincere thanks in bringing it to a satisfactory conclusion. Had it not been for your excellent legal knowledge, experience and methodical diligence I do not think that we would have achieved such a good outcome. Your support and advice has been invaluable. I really appreciated you being open and transparent, showing me all correspondence between parties as well as dealing with all communication promptly as this gave me a lot of confidence in you. You have shown that at least one solicitor is a true professional and a credit to the legal system.
We had an excellent experience working with Emma Slade on a professional negligence case. Clear at every step, proactive, pragmatic, and fair on fees. We achieved the outcome we had hoped for and would not hesitate to recommend Emma and her team.
