About Elle.
Elle West is a Solicitor in our family law team.
After graduating from the University of Greenwich, Elle completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Exeter. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2020 and has since developed experience across a wide range of family law matters.
Elle advises clients on divorce and financial matters, arrangements for children, protective orders, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, and separation.
Understanding that family difficulties can be an incredibly stressful and uncertain time, Elle takes a straightforward and approachable attitude to her work. She provides clients with clear, realistic advice so that they understand their options and can make informed decisions about the best way forward.
Elle encourages an amicable approach wherever possible and works with clients to try to reach practical agreements without unnecessary conflict. However, she also recognises that court proceedings are sometimes unavoidable and is experienced in supporting clients through Financial Remedy proceedings, Children Act proceedings and Family Law Act proceedings.
Based at Slee Blackwell’s Taunton office, Elle is also happy to meet with clients at the firm’s other offices, including Exeter and Tiverton.
Outside of work, Elle enjoys spending time with her young family, crafting and settling down with a good murder mystery.
