Chris Green is a contentious probate solicitor based at our Taunton office. He specialises in dealing with challenges to the validity of wills, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, executor disputes and beneficial interest claims involving estoppel and resulting or constructive trusts.

Chris qualified in 2010, having trained to become a contentious probate solicitor with a firm Bedfordshire. He subsequently relocated to the south west, joining Slee Blackwell in 2017.

Among the highlights of his work as a contentious probate solicitor is Chris’ recent success at trial in the case of Pendlebury v Brooke in which he acted for a step son in an inheritance dispute against his step father’s estate. The claim was vigorously defended by his client’s step brother, but Chris steered the case to victory with his client receiving a substantial award.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys cooking, running, cycling, walking his dog and is kept busy by his two young daughters.

If you require the services of a specialist contentious probate solicitor then give Chris a call for a preliminary chat.
