Originally from Somerset, Elizabeth left the west country to study Ancient History at University College London. Following graduation Elizabeth found herself in the world of law and decided that was where she belonged.

After working for a clinical negligence and personal injury firm in Cornwall she then spent 12 years at a specialist personal injury practice in Plymouth, before joining Slee Blackwell in 2016.

Elizabeth specialises in abuse cases involving local authorities, youth organisations, sports clubs, churches, schools and employers. She offers help to rape and CICA criminal injury victims and deals with stress at work claims and other high value injury cases.

In 2019 Elizabeth was recipient of the prestigious Legal Hero award from the Devon and Somerset Law Society.

Among the glowing client testimonials Elizabeth has received is the following:

‘Elizabeth was an absolute God-send. Not only was she knowledgeable, intelligent and professional, but she was realistically reassuring, encouraging and supportive – and not blindly led by counsel. She also utilized the expertise of other departments where necessary, thus providing an efficient and effective all round service. She was calm, practical and level headed, and made me feel as if she had all the time in the world time for my case, a rare feat in a busy legal practice. So all in all, I was highly impressed, and extremely grateful.’

When not in the office Elizabeth is to be found running along the paths and lanes of Somerset, Devon and Cornwall or enjoying the beaches and surf of the North Cornwall & North Devon coastline.
