Award-winning solicitor James McNally has added to his collection of accolades by winning the 2024 DASLS Solicitor of the Year Award which was presented to him by TV’s Rob Rinder.
James, who is widely known in the British media simply as ‘The Dog Bite Solicitor’, beat a highly competitive field of nominated lawyers.
In their commendation the judges of the prestigious DASLS awards said:
“For this award the judges were looking for entrants who stand out from the crowd and who had had a positive and demonstrable impact on their organization, colleagues and communities. The winner of this award has made their mark in their specialist area giving evidence to select committees and having strong client testimonials for their dogged determination to achieve a good result.”
The judges were impressed by the fact that Parliament recently called upon James’ expertise and invited him to appear before a Parliamentary Committee alongside The Rt Hon. the Lord Baker of Dorking — formerly known as Kenneth Baker, who was Home Secretary at the time of the introduction of the Dangerous Dogs Act.
James’ work has attracted widespread press interest and he has featured in numerous national newspapers including, The Daily Mail, The Sun, The Guardian, and Express. He has also appeared extensively on Radio and TV.
James was congratulated on his award by his fellow partners, with Lee Dawkins commenting:
