Emily Hockin

Emily returned to Slee Blackwell in 2007 as a trainee solicitor after previously working for the firm between 2005-2006 in a para legal capacity. This period represented a well-earned ‘break’ from her academic studies, after completing a LLB Honours degree and before commencing the Legal Practice Course. She spent her first year as a trainee at our Bideford office dealing with Personal Injury and Family work - covering both divorce and child contact cases. In her second year she was located at our Barnstaple office dealing principally with Probate, Wills and Trusts drafting. Qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2009, Emily continues her career with Slee Blackwell at our Braunton office where she is developing a Family and Probate caseload.
